Here at Heronsbrook Farm our philosophy has always been to deliver the finest quality meat, most of which is reared here on our working farm,just outside Knowle.Using traditional animal husbandry our livestock complies with the strict standards laid down by the RSPCA and this is your assurance that our meat has been raised in the most natural and responsible way.
We also stock locally grown vegetables plus a wide selection of cheeses,poultry and other quality foods,the shop has plentiful parking right outside the door and we are delighted to welcome both new and existing customers
Freedom Food is the farm assurance and food labelling scheme established by the RSPCA, one of the world's leading animal welfare organisations. The scheme is a charity in its own right, set up in 1994 to improve the welfare of farm animals and offer consumers a higher welfare choice.
Heronsbrook Beef
A succulent joint of Heronsbrook prime beef reared here on the farm,we leave our beef to hang on the bone for as long as three or four weeks and the result is the tastiest, most tender beef around.Our resident Butcher Rob is always available to help you with your choice of cuts
We select our vegetables from local growers.

Did you know why they call sausages "bangers"In austerity WW2 they had much less meat and lots of water and could go bang! if cooked to quickly.This will not apply to our traditional pork sausages.They are made from our finest pork to a traditional recipe here on the farm.We are very proud of them,next time you are in the shop ask Rob about the other exciting flavours we now produce. We have a wide selection of cheeses sourced from local producers.
They're made entirely from our best steak,coarse ground.Our steak burgers are made in-house in small batches, and finished under the supervision of our butcher.
